Terms of Use

Last updated: October 20, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of americanridehub.com and the content published there by American Ride Hub ("we," "us"). By using the website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this website is

American Ride Hub publishes free editorial guides, checklists and simple calculators. The website is provided for general information and education only. We do not sell products, take orders or process payments on this site.

No professional advice

Cycling carries risk of injury. Information on this website is general and educational. It is not safety, medical or legal advice, and it does not replace the instructions that come with your bike and accessories, local traffic laws or your own judgment. Wear a helmet, use lights when needed, follow the load limits printed on your bike and gear, and check state and local laws before you ride. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and safety labels that come with any product, and follow the laws, rules and posted restrictions that apply where you live or travel. If something is a matter of safety, health, law or property damage, consult a qualified professional or the responsible authority.

Accuracy and updates

We work to keep our guides accurate, clearly worded and current as of the "Updated" date shown on each page. Standards, regulations, product designs and local rules change, and we cannot guarantee that every detail will be right for your situation. Calculators and tools give estimates based on the rules of thumb described on their pages; they are aids to planning, not guarantees. If you find an error, please tell us at [email protected] so we can correct it.

Acceptable use

You may read, print and share links to the website for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it or its hosting infrastructure, scrape it in a way that burdens the servers, or use it in violation of any law.

Intellectual property

The text, structure, original graphics and design of this website are owned by American Ride Hub or its licensors and are protected by U.S. copyright law. You may quote short excerpts with a clear credit and a link back to the page you quote. You may not republish whole pages, or reuse our content commercially, without written permission.

Photographs on this website are provided by their photographers through Unsplash and are used under the Unsplash License. Photographers retain their rights and are credited on each page. Any product shown in a photograph is incidental and does not imply endorsement.

The site links to resources we do not control and loads fonts and images from third-party services described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of third-party websites or services.

Affiliate relationships

We do not currently run affiliate links. If that changes, links will be labeled and explained in our Affiliate Disclosure.

Disclaimer of warranties

The website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, American Ride Hub and the people who write and maintain it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or property, arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the website or reliance on its content. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when the current version took effect. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and, to the extent not preempted by federal law, the laws of the state in which the website's publisher is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
